Philly proudly paints the city every color under the rainbow this Pride Month — and all year round.
Every June, Pride offers an opportunity to reflect on the struggles and accomplishments of the LGBTQ+ community in Philadelphia and beyond — and a chance to celebrate in a big way.
After all, there’s a lot to celebrate in the City of Brotherly Love & Sisterly Affection: The city’s dynamic neighborhoods, award-winning restaurants and top historic attractions are all buoyed by LGBTQ+ communities who played a huge role in shaping our city from the very beginning.
Things kick off boldly with the Philly Pride March & Festival and Pride Weekend. From there, expect plenty of festivals, parties, exhibitions and performances popping up around Greater Philadelphia designed to honor and support people of all gender identities and sexual orientations.
Read on for our guide to Pride Month celebrations in Greater Philadelphia in 2025.

Debuting during Pride Month, In Plain Sight is a bold new installation honoring transgender, queer, intersex and asexual members of the community.
Created in collaboration with local artists and creatives, the sculpture incorporates colors from the different LGBTQ+ pride flags, each representing a segment of the community. The piece sends a loud, clear (and proud) message that all LGBTQ+ visitors are wanted and welcomed warmly in the birthplace of liberty.
In Plain Sight is on display at Cherry Street Pier through June 2025, after which Visit Philadelphia will move the sculpture to a long-term or permanent home. Interested in hosting the piece? Complete the open call form by Monday, June 23, 2025.
