Residents and visitors can kayak on the tidal Schuylkill River for free every Saturday this summer from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Just bring yourself and a sense of adventure — equipment, life jackets and instruction are all provided. Note: No reservations are needed, and equipment is issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Those 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult to participate.
