What better way to celebrate the Semiquincentennial than by letting freedom ring?
Bells Across PA — the statewide art exhibition in partnership with America250PA and Mural Arts Philadelphia — has begun showcasing festively painted Liberty Bell replicas across the state, with a whopping 23 bells set to be displayed right here in Philly.
Coming this spring and on view throughout 2026, vibrant fiberglass Liberty Bell sculptures start popping up in neighborhoods across the city — in commercial corridors, public parks, libraries and other buildings. Artists connected with community members to capture the spirit and identity of each neighborhood.
2026 kicks off with three of Philly’s bells already on view, each part of America250PA’s larger program in partnership with Mother Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau and Visit Philadelphia (hey, that’s us!).
