For the first time in the history of the tournament, the Coupe du monde de la FIFA arrives in Philadelphia — with all the pomp and circumstance attached to the world’s largest sporting event.
Lincoln Financial Field (temporarily renamed Philadelphia Stadium) hosts six matches between June 14 and July 14, 2026, with legendary sides like France, Croatia and Brazil topping the marquee, alongside sleeper pick Ghana.
Needless to say, the stakes are incredibly high, and the pitch is fevered.
As momentum builds for this epic showcase of soccer elites, Philly is ready to welcome the world through various watch parties, supporter events and live viewings at some of the city’s top bars and restaurants.
This is a global phenomenon, not to be red-carded for. Whether you’re looking for dive bars where everybody knows your name, fancy flat screens in the clouds or block parties that keep going well after the sun sets, Philly is goal-den.
Read on for where to watch FIFA World Cup 26 in Philadelphia.
Le Festival des supporters de la FIFA reprend Lemon Hill à l'est Fairmount Park, overlooking the Schuylkill River and Boathouse Row from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
While the 39-day fest is 100% free and open to all, revelers must first register on the official Philadelphie Soccer 2026 host site. Organizers expect crowds to hover between 15,000 and 20,000 fans during this once-in-a-lifetime event being dubbed “Soccer Coachella.”
Open on match days and non-match days, expect a carnival-like atmosphere that embodies the unifying spirit of the global tournament. This is a slice of soccer heaven: Ginormous screens show live matches, a temporary pitch invites impromptu games, merch tents offer official souvenirs and live music blares from stages, in addition to food trucks showcasing the best Philly eats and international flavors.
The full festival schedule varies by day, so make sure to check for updates.

Philadelphia is scattered with Irish pubs ready to hang scarves next to shamrocks in honor of FIFA World Cup 26. At Pub irlandais Fadó, every goal feels bigger when you’re saddled up at the wood-paneled bar, which delivers cozy Irish cottage vibes amid comfy private snugs.
Le présent Centre ville stalwart — yes, it’s a national chain, but the atmosphere feels native — opens as early as 7 a.m. for early-morning matches and, sometimes, closes down the 1500 block of Locust Street for a can’t-miss block party.
Other traditional Irish pubs serving up proper pints and terrace chants include:
”I don’t necessarily see Tír na nÓg as a business but as an extension of my home,” says Bill Boyle, manager at Tír na nÓg. “I want people to come in, enjoy a couple of pints, watch sports, connect with others and feel comfortable, the same as they do in any pub in Ireland.”

Let’s start in Fairmount. Le salon vert, home of the Jameson Mint Julep, makes a habit of turning the corner of 19th and Green streets into a dive-y wonderland.
With a cratered history dating back to 1919, nostalgia runs high here. The pool table is serious business and the jukebox is always on.
The Green Room promises every World Cup match live-streamed, which makes sense considering how hard the cash-only bar leans into celebratory events like Eagles’ Super Bowls and Phillies no-hitters — oh, just in case, there is an ATM on premises.

Le South Philly Complexe sportif is your “Eureka Moment” — or your first taste of Philly’s tailgating scene, which just may get you some national buzz (ready to go viral?) if the ESPN cameras are on.
Fresh off its $20 million expansion, En direct des États-Unis ! features multiple venues in one, including the new AVA Rooftop Bar (think: sunset cocktails and DJ-driven sets), plus the Coors Light Stage, PBR Backyard, Blue Moon Beer Garden and Stateside Crush Bar.
Book it: Stateside Live! offers expériences avant et après le match with varying levels of hospitality exclusive to ticketholders.

Brauhaus Schmitz, the city’s self-proclaimed “Summer Football Headquarters,” never pretends or disappoints on the world stage. From midnight matches that spill into the wee hours to block parties giving Oktoberfest feels, this German beer hall brings packed Haus energy.
With a dizzying selection of Bavarian beers — 34 rotating drafts, plus German comfort foods like schnitzel et laugenbrezel — Brauhaus Schmitz is Philly’s 12th man. It’s shutting down the 700 block of Rue du Sud pour five raucous watch parties, with jumbo screens filling up the street on the following dates: June 25, June 27, July 3, July 4 and July 19, 2026.
“If there are three things Brauhaus knows best, it’s soccer, big events and beer — and this summer is the perfect combination of all three happening right here in our incredible city,” says Doug Hager, owner of Brauhaus Schmitz. “We’re excited, honored and ready to help showcase the passion, energy and hospitality that Philadelphia brings to the global soccer community.”

Yards Brewing Company fancies itself as Philadelphia’s brewery, growing from a beloved garage brewery in Manayunk to a 70,000-square-foot facility at 5th and Spring Garden streets in Northern Liberties.
Yards is a place where community and sports intersect, as evidenced by their partnerships with athletes like Kyle Schwarber and Connor Barwin.
With dozens of flat screens turned up loud and 20 housemade beers pouring generously from the taps, including (the very Philly) Trash Talk IPA, this taproom knows how to party. Bring your lucky match-day scarf and hunker down at the center bar.

Le Union de Philadelphie host their free Soccer Celebration at Union Yards throughout the 39-day tournament. Look for a Fan Activation Zone and “Flavors of the Matchday,” a rotating menu of authentic dishes inspired by the countries taking the pitch.
Remember, Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast) is using Subaru Park and the Union training facilities as its home base. They face Ecuador (June 14, 2026) and Curaçao (June 25, 2026) at the Linc.
Bonus: Union homegrowns Matt Freese, Mark McKenzie, Auston Trusty and Brendan Aaronson have been named to the U.S. Men’s National Team roster. Adding intrigue, Union midfielder Danley Jean Jacques was chosen for the Haiti Men’s National Team.
Outside of the stadium experience, several supporters’ bars around Philadelphia plan to turn up the home-field advantage by showing live World Cup matches:

Discerning soccer fans want substance behind every free kick, poetry in motion on each tap and cross, and a clean sheet over a hooligan-fueled bacchanalia.
The Match Room (inside the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center) transforms the hotel’s 59th floor into a pop-up sports lounge in the clouds. Upscale and chic, Bethenny Frankel’s favorite hotel brings clear sightlines and big-screen TVs along with shareable snacks and World Cup-themed cocktails. Rent a private space or walk in off the street.
“The energy of The Match Room is unmatched!” says Milanee Benaouadj, Director of Catering at the Four Seasons. “The LED screen installation transforms the space, surrounding guests with the excitement of live match play and bringing every moment to life through a seamless, cinematic display.”
Other elevated experiences during the tournament include:
“We expect guests to feel the electric energy that Philly always brings to every sporting event!” says chef-partner Kenneth Bush at FringeBar. “Anticipate food and drink specials, and even a DJ at some games keeping the party going.”

The best part of being a host city is connecting with soccer fans. From immersing in cultural experiences through food to knowing how to navigate the Festival des supporters de la FIFA, the details matter.
En Africatown, where Philly’s biggest African diaspora resides, they’ll carry the torch for Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Curaçao and Haiti. The neighborhood is hosting free watch parties along 55th Street, set to coincide with the Festival ODUNDE. Plan on seeing bites from restaurants like African Small Pot, Jam-Rock and Kilmindjaro.
En Chinatown, Lion Sports Bar shows every minute of every match from 33 screens. The buzzy bar — located near the Centre de convention de Pennsylvanie — hosts a French-themed watch party, in partnership with La Federación Francesa de Fútbol, ahead of France vs. Iraq (June 22, 2026), with next-door ramen shop Yamitsuki serving as overflow for a massive World Cup Watch Party that includes an open bar and an unlimited (!) buffet.
“Lion Sports Bar is going to be the craziest place to watch the World Cup,” says Mark Prinzinger, partner at Lion. “We welcome fans from all over the world to enjoy one of our World Cup-themed cocktails, like the Messi Margarita or Neymar Caipirinha.”
