Volvér is a theatrical dining adventure from renowned chef Jose Garces fittingly located on the ground floor of the beautiful Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.
Based on Garces’ world travels, the restaurant offers two distinct experiences for diners: a sparkling wine, caviar and small plates experience in the stylized bar and a decadent multi-course chef’s tastings in the intimate dining room.
An intimate space fitting just 30, Volvér’s main dining room offers only two seatings a night, meaning reservations are required.
The experience features eight- and 12-course tasting menus highlighting regional specialties from around the world.
Dishes often incorporate seasonal ingredients, including locally raised meat and seafood as well as produce from Chef Garces’ own Luna Farm in Bucks County.
Beverage pairings or a la carte beverages are available for each seating.
Open-to-the-public on a first-come, first-served basis, Bar Volvér offers an extensive list of champagne, sparkling wine and seasonal cocktails.
Aside from bubbly options, the Forbes-rated five-star wine list features a wide selection of varietals from around the world.
To pair with the bar’s refreshments, diners can order from a selection of small plates and a new menu of larger entrees.
While reservations are required for the main dining room, Bar Volvér does not require reservations and guests are more than welcome to take a seat at the bar at any time during open hours.
