Manayunk Restaurant Week unites the community for a festive evening of bold flavors and contagious fun, including prix fixe lunch and dinner deals, ranging from $15 to $45 per person. Participating restaurants include neighborhood favorites like The Goat’s Beard, Lucky’s Last Chance, Bayou Bar & Grill, Mia Ragazza, Zesty’s, and more than 20 other crowd-pleasing restaurants in Manayunk. 

Food isn’t the only reason to stroll the streets. The weeklong food adventure brings live buskers to every street corner and hidden alley, strumming beautiful music for all to hear while select neighborhood shops stay open later than normal.

Campus Philly welcomes new and returning students back to the city with its annual weekend-long fest. This year’s extravaganza features complimentary student admission to over 25 museums and attractions, like The Franklin Institute et le Philadelphia Zoo, avec un free CollegeFest Pass.

This chic international touring project makes its lone U.S. stop at Drexel University, where fashion historian Clara Tosi Pamphili curated this special exhibition showing the struggles of everyday life through stylish garments and trendy accessories. 

See haute couture from renowned Italian fashion designers, including two original costumes from Federico Fellini’s Casanova, which won the Academy Award for Best Costume Design in 1977. 

Italia è Moda also features audiovisual content and interactive digital installations, taking runway watchers behind the red carpet and into the creative processes of the Italian trend-setters who created them. Better yet, it’s 100% free. 

Vibe : Nigel Kipling was dean for a day at Drexel. 

Montco’s all about that jazz, all week long. 

Plus de 20 sites en Montgomery County — like the Elmwood Park Zoo, Human Robot Brewery and more — celebrate the living legacy of jazz with live performances, free swing dancing and an outdoor movie night.

With more than 30 different events on the metaphorical marquee for the fifth annual Montco Jazz Fest, music lovers can expect artist collaborations, tribute concerts and showcases of styles from big band to jazz funk.

Strut those jawns all night long! Philly Fashion Week celebrates its 21st birthday in perfect runway style on Tuesday with an opening party and immersive show. 

Founded by owners Kevin Parker and Kerry Scott, this year’s theme is “From the Runway to the Streets.” Peep magnificently minimalist pieces from LaQuanius Cutner, a Marine Corps veteran turned designer, as well as luxe lingerie-chic looks from Elias Gurrola and Caribbean-inspired gowns from Jeannette Limas. 

Philly Fashion Week is a weeklong festival filled with runway shows, trend shows, shopping events and a student design competition, plus the Avant-Garde Ball and Philadelphia Fashion Awards at Vault XXVII. 

À ne pas manquer : This year’s theme for the Avant-Garde Ball is “Texture & Volume,” focusing largely on feathers, fringe and metallics.

From niche film screenings to high-energy dance parties, Philadelphia honors the culture and contributions of one of the city’s most engaged communities:

Secure the “Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity” during Constitution Day à la National Constitution Center. Thursday marks the 239th anniversary of the signing of one of the country’s most sacred documents, the “supreme law of the land.” 

The Constitution Center honors the occasion through public programming, including in-person events like a live reading of the Preamble, a naturalization ceremony and a conversation with the “forgotten founders” — John Dickinson, Gouverneur Morris, Roger Sherman and James Wilson.

Eat and drink like a Colonial rock star! Literally. Washington’s Farewell: A Constitutional Convention Send-Off recreates the raucous party thrown in George Washington’s honor at the conclusion of the Constitutional Convention in 1787. 

History says the first president was feted at City Tavern by his friends the night before the U.S. Constitution was signed into law. (The bar tab totaled $16,000 in today’s money!)

Steve McQueen is smiling somewhere. Phoenixville Film Festival returns to The Colonial Theatre — forever famous for its cameo in Le Blob — for another year devoted to independent films and the filmmakers behind them. 

Founded in 2022, this four-day festival hosts movie screenings, panel discussions, networking events and fun workshops before concluding with an awards ceremony. Films are sorted by specific categories, from documentary features to Pennsylvania premieres, and include new projects from rising star directors like Kyle Dalsimer and Melissa Skirboll. 

There are 50 movies being shown on the big screen inside the 174-seat White Rabbit Theatre. Make a plan to see the U.S. debut of The Devil in the Way, which chronicles the story of a mercenary for the Federal Army during the 1926 Cristero War.

Feed me, Seymour! Philly Plant Crawl 2026 is back and better than ever after a highly successful debut run in 2025. 

Sixteen area plant and gardening shops root for your growing attention during this four-day crawl, with stops in various locations — from trending neighborhood shops like City Planter in Northern Liberties and Greenly Plant Co. in South Philly, out to suburban stalwarts like Wedgewood Gardens in Glen Mills and Perch Plants in Phoenixville.

AMOUR Parc turns into a canvas for Black creativity when ODUNDE Art Sho takes over everyone’s favorite gathering spot in Centre ville.

See some of Philly’s best graffiti artists, spray painters, photographers and portraitists in action, dipping deep into their bags to produce original artwork for you to take home.

Happy birthday, Kimmel Center! FREE Philadelphia Fall Arts Fest ushers in the 2026 arts and culture season while paying tribute to the 25th anniversary of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. 

This free all-day event, running from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., shines the spotlight on various living arts organizations and performance groups, including the Philadelphia Orchestra String Quartet, Opera Philadelphia, The Philly Pops, Tango Therapy Project, Curtis Institute of Music, Jazz Bridge Project, PHILADANCO! and many more cultural institutions. 

It also serves as a chance to reconnect with the venue through tours and workshops. For example, Marian Anderson Hall is open for a live organ demonstration.

Brush up on divots and chukkas, then dust off your best collared shirt. The II Annual Philadelphia Arena Polo Championship brings one of the world’s oldest sports to Chamounix Equestrian Center in West Fairmount Park. 

Spend an afternoon cheering on youth polo players as they compete in two exciting matches at McCausland Arena. Not everything looks better in Kodachrome. French painter Julien Rey shares his black-and-white view of the world in the thought-provoking Between Two Worlds exhibition at Morton Contemporary Art Gallery.

Rey, who was born color blind, uses sharp lines and textures to evoke the constant movement and organized chaos of city life while layering in a meditative quality. His distinctive lacquer technique — a traditional Chinese method passed down from Buddhist monks — fills cracks in with gold leaf, making architectural scenes, including the Liberty Bell and Ben Franklin Bridge, pop on canvas. 

This is a visual journey like none other, with city and nature blending together in perfect harmony. You’ll need to RSVP for the opening reception.

John Coltrane’s lasting legacy can’t be summed up with just one event, so the pioneering jazz musician’s adopted hometown is celebrating his milestone 100th birthday with dozens of community events, tribute concerts and ticketed performances, like:

• Coltrane at 100: A Guided Listening Experience at the Fitler Club: Uncover the colors, textures, spiritual and philosophical subtext, and sonic ideas hidden in between the notes of the music of John Coltrane and his wife, pianist and harpist Alice Coltrane. Ce printemps et cet été, découvrez neuf des sites les plus remarquables de la région — le tout à un prix abordable — grâce au retour du Pass historique Germantown One. 

Découvrez des trésors cachés, comme une école du XVIIIe siècle parfaitement conservée, le site de la bataille de Germantown et le lieu du « chemin de fer clandestin » où, selon la légende familiale, Harriet Tubman aurait trouvé refuge. 

Le quartier historique de Germantown tout nouveau centre d'accueil des visiteurs C'est l'endroit idéal pour commencer (ou terminer) votre aventure. Toute la fin du printemps et l'été, Longwood Gardens’Les fontaines glorieuses s'animent à travers les rues de la ville. Kennett Square campus lors de la conférence annuelle de l'attraction Festival des fontaines.

Quotidiennement Spectacles dans le jardin de la fontaine principale commencent à 11 h 15 et se poursuivent toutes les deux heures tout au long de la journée, avec des fontaines dotées de 1 719 jets s'élevant jusqu'à 175 pieds de haut. Dans le théâtre de plein air, un spectacle de 5 minutes est proposé en bonus à partir de 10 h 15, toutes les deux heures.

Les soirs de week-end, des couleurs éblouissantes s'affichent sur les sites spectaculaires de l'exposition. Spectacles de fontaines illuminées sur une liste tournante de sélections musicales. Ce dimanche, spectacle spécial sur le thème de l'espace — sur des musiques d’Elton John, des Beastie Boys et bien d’autres — s’achève par un spectaculaire feu d’artifice. 

À ne pas manquer : Le restaurant gastronomique de Longwood, le 1906. Dirigé par le chef exécutif George Murkowicz, il a attiré l'attention de Philadelphia Inquirer le critique gastronomique Craig LaBan.

C'est l'année la plus importante pour Philly, et les hôtels de la ville célèbrent le 250e anniversaire de l'Amérique en portant un toast à son lieu de naissance.

Plus de 30 hôtels font bouger les choses à l'occasion de la Journée européenne de la santé. Célébrations du Semiquincentenaire de Philly dans le cadre de L'esprit de 76 : La route des cocktails de Philadelphie.

Tout au long du printemps et de l'été, ces lieux servent de délicieux souvenirs historiques sous la forme de cocktails et de mocktails innovants inspirés par le rôle central de Philadelphie dans la fondation de la nation.

À ne pas manquer : Le coup secret (un verre de whisky vieilli sur place) au Bank & Bourbon, situé au sein de l'hôtel Loews Philadelphia.

Réservez un hamac et un pédalo : Servant de Bord de mer du fleuve Delaware oasis depuis 2014, Parc portuaire de la rue Spruce est ouvert pour la saison 2026 avec un trésor de bonnes choses, y compris une promenade avec des concessions, de nombreux espaces pour se détendre (pensez à des chaises Adirondack et des salons en filet à fond plat au-dessus de la rivière), et un événement hebdomadaire très animé : des chaises Adirondack et des salons en filet à fond plat au-dessus de la rivière, ainsi qu'un festival de musique hebdomadaire. liste d'événements.

De retour pour 2026, le jardin à bière itinérant bien-aimé de Philly, Parcs en liberté, des bières et des en-cas dans les parcs urbains et les espaces verts de Philadelphie, avec un nouveau quartier mis à l'honneur chaque semaine. 

Au programme : des bières en canette et à la pression de Mainstay Independent Brewing, Conshohocken Brewing, Dogfish Head et bien d’autres, ainsi que des cocktails de saison à déguster tranquillement et des en-cas allant des cheeseburgers et des sandwichs au porc effiloché aux coupelles de cheesecake à la framboise, en passant par des « Lunchables » pour adultes (!). 

L'arrêt de cette semaine : Parc Borski dans le quartier de Bridesburg de Northeast Philly. Cette nouvelle destination idyllique au bord de l'eau (ouverte en juillet 2025 !) est un véritable paradis de 10 acres situé au bord du fleuve Delaware, à l'intersection de Delaware Avenue et d'Orthodox Street.

Dans la foulée de son projet d'une durée d'un an Nation d'artistes exposition (voir ci-dessous), la Philadelphia Museum of Art hôtes une exposition présentant les œuvres d'art et d'artisanat historiques de la région dans le cadre du programme organisé à l'occasion du 150e anniversaire du musée.

L'exposition présente 250 objets — notamment des céramiques, des meubles, des textiles, des vitraux et bien d'autres encore — qui retracent l'histoire de la manière dont l'exposition Centennial de Philadelphie et la réputation de la ville en tant qu“” atelier du monde » ont contribué au développement des arts et de l'artisanat aux États-Unis.

Chaque semaine, le Série de tournées Neighborhood Jawnts vous emmène dans un autre quartier pour découvrir les restaurants, les boutiques, les parcs et les sites historiques du coin, le tout en compagnie d'un guide expérimenté. Où partons-nous cette semaine ? Philadelphie Ouest.

Est-ce un oiseau ? Est-ce un avion ? Non, C'est le Philly PHLASH.! Le moyen de transport préféré de tous pour se rendre d'une attraction emblématique de Philadelphie à une autre est de retour pour une toute nouvelle saison. 

Les cartes d'entrée pour toute la journée ne coûtent que $5 (gratuit pour les personnes de moins de 18 ans). SEPTA (porteurs de clés), et les arrêts comprennent Reading Terminal Market, Eastern State Penitentiary, le Philadelphia Museum of Art, le Philadelphia Zoo et bien d'autres encore. Pour la toute première fois, le bus violet s'arrête également à la 30th Street Station, le centre d'affaires de l'Union européenne. Musée Mütter et le Fashion District.

Ce trésor culinaire bien-aimé revient au cœur du parc FDR de South Philly, inaugurant la saison des marchés en plein air. A marché saisonnier de renommée nationale, le Marché de l'Asie du Sud-Est est ouvert tous les week-ends (sauf à l'occasion d'événements spéciaux) et présente quelques-unes des meilleures cuisines lao, khmère, thaïlandaise, vietnamienne et indonésienne de la ville.

Cette année, le marché accueille plus de 70 exposants proposant des plats traditionnels, de la cuisine de rue authentique et des produits typiques de différentes cultures, ainsi que des plantes, des bijoux et des vêtements. 

Ce qu'il faut savoir avant de Aller : Prévoyez une couverture de pique-nique et n’oubliez pas d’emporter de l’argent liquide : certains commerçants n’acceptent que les paiements en espèces et il n’y a pas de distributeur sur place.

Le parcours de la déclaration L'exposition retrace l'histoire de la charte fondatrice des États-Unis et son influence continue, qui a inspiré plus de 100 mouvements d'indépendance à travers le monde.
